Built in 1928 by the Portland chapter of Sons of Norway, Norse Hall is a Scandinavian community center and cultural landmark located just east of the Burnside Bridge at 11th and N.E. Couch. Covering a quarter of a city block, the historic building was designed by well-known Portland architect Elmer Feig, and has been the home of the Sons of Norway Grieg Lodge #15 for three quarters of a century.
